Is royal mail delivering on boxing day
According to Royal Mail's official website, they do not deliver mail on Boxing Day (December 26th) in the United Kingdom.
Royal Mail observes the following public holidays:
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
- Boxing Day (December 26th)
- New Year's Day (January 1st)
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Early May Bank Holiday (first Monday in May)
- Spring Bank Holiday (last Monday in May)
- Summer Bank Holiday (last Monday in August, except in Scotland where it is the first Monday in August)
- Christmas Day (December 25th)
During these public holidays, Royal Mail's delivery services are suspended, and no mail is delivered. However, you can still collect mail from your local post office or a Royal Mail Customer Service Point if you need to.
It's worth noting that while Royal Mail doesn't deliver mail on these public holidays, some special delivery services, such as Special Delivery Guaranteed and Special Delivery Next Day, may still be available on these days, but with limited hours and services.
