Ismaili brinsley schwarz

Ismaili Brinsley Schwarz was a British rock band that was active from 1970 to 1975. The band was formed by guitarist and singer Nils Lofgren, who would later go on to join Neil Young's Crazy Horse, and bassist and singer Rick Wills, who would later join Foreigner.

The band's name was inspired by the Ismaili sect of Shia Islam, and the surname "Brinsley" was chosen because it sounded "English" and "respectable". The band's music was a blend of rock, pop, and folk, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmonies and catchy songwriting.

Ismaili Brinsley Schwarz released three albums during their active years: "Ismaili Brinsley Schwarz" (1970), "Rocked, Socked and Loaded" (1971), and "Non-Stop" (1974). The band's music was well-received by critics and fans, and they developed a loyal following in the UK and Europe.

Despite their talent and potential, the band's career was cut short when Nils Lofgren left to join Neil Young's Crazy Horse in 1975. The remaining members of the band went on to pursue other projects, and Ismaili Brinsley Schwarz eventually disbanded.

However, the band's music has continued to be celebrated by fans of 1970s rock and pop, and their albums have been reissued on CD and digital formats.
