In Ismaili Shia Islam, the recitation of Arabic du'a (supplications) is an important part of the faith. Here are some common Ismaili du'a on recitation of Arabic:
Before Recitation
- "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" (بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم) - In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
- "Alhamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin" (الحمد لله رب العالمين) - Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
During Recitation
- "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" (قل هو الله أحد) - Say: He is Allah, the One and Only.
- "Qul Yā Ayyuhā al-Kafirūn" (قل يا أيها الكفارون) - Say: O you who reject Faith!
- "Qul Yā Ayyuhā al-Mu'minūn" (قل يا أيها المؤمنون) - Say: O you who believe!
After Recitation
- "Subhan Allah" (سبحان الله) - Glorified is Allah.
- "Alhamdu lillahi rabbil 'alamin" (الحمد لله رب العالمين) - Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
- "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" (إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون) - We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
Additional Du'a
- "Rabbi zidnee ilman wa faqih" (ربي زدني علمًا وفقيه) - My Lord, increase my knowledge and wisdom.
- "Rabbi aj'alnee muqimeen" (ربي اجعلني مقيمًا) - My Lord, make me steadfast.
- "Rabbi aj'alnee mu'mineen" (ربي اجعلني مؤمنًا) - My Lord, make me a believer.
Please note that these du'a are not exclusive to Ismaili Shia Islam and may be used by other Muslim communities as well. Additionally, the recitation of du'a is a personal and intimate act of worship, and it's recommended to recite them with sincerity and humility.
