Ismaili heritage dua

A beautiful topic!

In Ismaili Shia Islam, a "dua" (prayer) is a way to connect with the divine and express one's thoughts, feelings, and intentions. Here are some examples of Ismaili heritage du'as:

  1. Du'a Mawla Ali: This is a famous du'a attributed to Imam Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is often recited during the morning and evening prayers.

"O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, and Your guidance. I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. O Allah, I am Your servant, and I am the son of Your servant. My forefathers were Your servants, and they were righteous. I am weak, and I am in need of Your help. O Allah, do not leave me to myself, for You are the One Who guides me to the straight path."

  1. Du'a Fatima: This du'a is attributed to Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the wife of Imam Ali. It is often recited during the morning and evening prayers.

"O Allah, I ask You for Your mercy, Your forgiveness, and Your guidance. I seek refuge in Your mercy from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from Your punishment. O Allah, I am Your servant, and I am the daughter of Your servant. My forefathers were Your servants, and they were righteous. I am weak, and I am in need of Your help. O Allah, do not leave me to myself, for You are the One Who guides me to the straight path."

  1. Du'a Imam Shah Karim al-Husayni: This du'a is attributed to the 49th Ismaili Imam, Shah Karim al-Husayni Aga Khan IV.

  1. Du'a for the Ismaili Community: This du'a is often recited during Ismaili gatherings and ceremonies.

"O Allah, we ask You to bless our Imam, our spiritual guide, and our leader. We ask You to guide us to the straight path, and to grant us the strength to follow Your commandments. We ask You to protect us from the evil of our own selves, and to guide us to the right path. O Allah, we ask You to bless our community, and to grant us the blessings of peace, prosperity, and unity."

These are just a few examples of Ismaili heritage du'as. There are many more, and each one is a beautiful expression of devotion and faith.
