Join hotmail
A blast from the past! Hotmail is a free web-based email service that was launched in 1996 and was one of the first widely popular web-based email services. While it's not as popular as it once was, you can still sign up for a Hotmail account. Here's how:
Note: Hotmail has been rebranded as Outlook.com, but you can still sign up for a Hotmail account.
Step 1: Go to the Hotmail sign-up page
Open a web browser and go to the Hotmail sign-up page: www.hotmail.com.
Step 2: Enter your information
Click on the "Create account" button and enter the following information:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address (choose a username and password)
- Password (choose a strong and unique password)
- Birthday
- Gender
- Country or region
- Language
Step 3: Verify your account
After entering your information, you'll receive an email from Hotmail to verify your account. Open the email and click on the verification link to activate your account.
Step 4: Set up your account
Once your account is verified, you'll be prompted to set up your account. You can add a profile picture, set up your security questions, and customize your account settings.
Tips:
- Make sure to choose a strong and unique password for your account.
- Be cautious when entering your personal information, as it will be stored on Microsoft's servers.
- Hotmail has a 2GB storage limit, so you may need to upgrade to a paid account if you need more storage space.
