Lehman email setup for students

Here's a step-by-step guide to setting up your Lehman College email account as a student:

Step 1: Activate Your Lehman College Email Account

  1. Go to the Lehman College website (www.lehman.edu) and click on the "Student" tab.
  2. Click on "Student Email" and then "Activate Your Email Account".
  3. Enter your CUNYfirst ID and password to log in.
  4. Follow the prompts to activate your email account.

Step 2: Set Up Your Lehman College Email Account

  1. Once your account is activated, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to set up your account.
  2. Click on the link provided in the email to set up your account.
  3. Enter your CUNYfirst ID and password to log in.
  4. Choose a security question and answer, and set up your account recovery options.
  5. Set up your email client (e.g., Outlook, Gmail, etc.) to connect to your Lehman College email account.

Step 3: Configure Your Email Client

  1. If you're using Outlook, follow these steps:
    • Open Outlook and click on "File" > "Add Account".
    • Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".

      • POP3 server: imap.lehman.cuny.edu
      • Username: your CUNYfirst ID
      • Password: your CUNYfirst password
    • Click "Add account" and then "Save Changes".
