Live mail to outlook 2013

Migrating from Live Mail to Outlook 2013 involves several steps. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you make the transition:

Step 1: Export your Live Mail data

  1. Open Live Mail and go to File > Export.
  2. Select Export to a file and choose Windows Live Mail as the export format.
  3. Choose the folders you want to export (e.g., Inbox, Sent Items, Contacts).
  4. Select a location to save the export file (e.g., your desktop).
  5. Click Export to start the export process.

Step 2: Import your Live Mail data into Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2013 and go to File > Open & Export.
  2. Select Import/Export and choose Import from another program or file.
  3. Choose Windows Live Mail as the file type and select the export file you created in Step 1.
  4. Click Next and then Finish to start the import process.

Step 3: Set up your email account in Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2013 and go to File > Account Settings.
  2. Click Add a new email account and select Manual setup or additional server types.
  3. Choose POP or IMAP as the account type and enter your email account settings (e.g., email address, password, incoming and outgoing server settings).
  4. Click Next and then Finish to set up your email account.

Step 4: Configure your email account settings

  1. Go to File > Account Settings and select your email account.
  2. Click Change next to More Settings.
  3. In the Internet Email Settings window, enter your email account settings (e.g., email address, password, incoming and outgoing server settings).
  4. Click OK to save your changes.

Step 5: Verify your email account settings

  1. Go to File > Account Settings and select your email account.
  2. Click Test Account Settings to verify that your email account settings are correct.

That's it! Your Live Mail data should now be imported into Outlook 2013, and you should be able to access your email account using Outlook.
