Login server gmail
To login to a Gmail server, you'll need to use the IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) or POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3) protocol. Here are the steps:
IMAP (Recommended)
- Server address:

Additional settings
- Authentication: You can use either
PLAIN
orLOGIN
authentication methods. - SSL/TLS: Make sure to enable SSL/TLS encryption to secure your connection.
Example in popular email clients
- Microsoft Outlook: Go to File > Account Settings > Account > More Settings > Advanced > Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server. Enter the server addresses and ports above.
- Mozilla Thunderbird: Go to Account Settings > Server Settings > Incoming and Outgoing Server. Enter the server addresses and ports above.
- Apple Mail: Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > [Your Email Account] > Advanced. Enter the server addresses and ports above.
Note: If you're using 2-Step Verification (2SV) with your Gmail account, you'll need to generate an App Password and use it instead of your regular password.
