The Mac Mail app!

Archiving emails in the Mac Mail app is a great way to keep your inbox organized and free up space on your computer. Here's how to do it:

Method 1: Archive using the "Archive" button

  1. Open the Mac Mail app and select the email you want to archive.
  2. Click on the "Archive" button in the top-right corner of the window. It looks like a box with an arrow pointing downwards.
  3. The email will be moved to the "Archive" folder, which is located in the "Mailboxes" list on the left side of the window.

Method 2: Archive using the "Move to" feature

  1. Open the Mac Mail app and select the email you want to archive.
  2. Right-click (or control-click) on the email and select "Move to" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Move to" window, select the "Archive" folder from the list of available folders.
  4. Click "Move" to move the email to the "Archive" folder.

Method 3: Archive using the "Smart Mailbox" feature

  1. Open the Mac Mail app and go to "Mailboxes" in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on "New Smart Mailbox" and give it a name, such as "Archive".
  3. In the "Smart Mailbox" window, select the criteria for the archive folder, such as "All messages" or "Messages older than 1 year".
  4. Click "OK" to create the Smart Mailbox.
  5. To archive an email, simply drag it to the "Archive" Smart Mailbox in the "Mailboxes" list.
