Mac mail reindex

Method 1: Reindex using the Mail app

- Click on the Rebuild button next to Mailbox.

mdutil -i on /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/Mail
Replace
/Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/Mail
with the path to your Mail database. You can find this path by going to Finder > Go > Go to Folder and typing~/Library/Mail

Wait for the reindexing process to complete. This may take some time, depending on the size of your email database.
