Mail basic 25

Here are the basic 25 mail commands:

  1. a - Append file to the end of the current message.
  2. b - Begin a new message.
  3. c - Cancel the current message.
  4. cc - Send a copy of the current message to another address.
  5. d - Delete the current message.
  6. e - Edit the current message.
  7. f - Forward the current message to another address.
  8. h - Help - display a list of available commands.
  9. i - Insert file into the current message.
  10. k - Kill the current message.
  11. l - List the messages in the current mailbox.
  12. m - Mark the current message as read or unread.
  13. n - Next message.
  14. p - Previous message.
  15. q - Quit the mail program.
  16. r - Reply to the current message.
  17. R - Reply to the current message and save a copy.
  18. s - Save the current message.
  19. t - Toggle the current message between read and unread.
  20. u - Unmark the current message as read.
  21. v - View the current message.
  22. w - Write a new message.
  23. x - Exit the mail program without saving changes.
  24. y - Yes, save changes and exit the mail program.
  25. z - Cancel and return to the previous menu.

These commands are commonly used in text-based email clients, such as Pine or Elm.
