To set up mail fetch settings on your iPhone, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Settings
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".
Step 2: Tap on "Fetch New Data"
- In the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings, tap on "Fetch New Data".
Step 3: Choose Your Fetch Schedule
- You can choose from three options:
- "Manually": Fetch new data only when you open the Mail app.
- "Every 15 minutes": Fetch new data every 15 minutes.
- "Hourly": Fetch new data every hour.
- "Every 30 minutes": Fetch new data every 30 minutes.
- "Every 60 minutes": Fetch new data every 60 minutes.
- Tap on the option that suits your needs.
Step 4: Set Your Fetch Size
- Below the Fetch Schedule option, you'll see "Fetch Size".
- You can choose from three options:
- "50 messages": Fetch up to 50 new messages at a time.
- "100 messages": Fetch up to 100 new messages at a time.
- "200 messages": Fetch up to 200 new messages at a time.
- Tap on the option that suits your needs.
Step 5: Save Your Changes
- Tap on "Save" to save your changes.
That's it! Your iPhone will now fetch new email data according to the schedule you've set.
Note: You can also set up multiple email accounts with different fetch settings. To do this, go to "Accounts" in the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings and tap on the account you want to edit. Then, follow the same steps as above.
