Mail folders in iphone
On an iPhone, you can create and manage mail folders to organize your emails in a way that makes sense to you. Here's how:
Creating a new folder:
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the "New Mailbox" button.
- Enter a name for your new folder and select a location (e.g., "Inbox", "Sent", etc.).
- Tap "Save" to create the new folder.
Moving emails to a folder:
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the email you want to move to a folder.
- Tap on the "Move" button (looks like a box with an arrow).
- Select the folder you want to move the email to from the list of available folders.
- Tap "Move" to move the email to the selected folder.
Renaming a folder:
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the folder you want to rename.
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the folder name to edit it.
- Enter a new name for the folder and tap "Save" to save the changes.
Deleting a folder:

- Tap on the folder you want to delete.

Tips:
- You can create subfolders within other folders to further organize your emails.
- You can also create folders on your iCloud account and access them from multiple devices.
- If you have a lot of folders, you can use the "Search" function to quickly find a specific folder.
