In Yahoo Mail, a folder is a way to organize and categorize your emails. Here's how to create and manage folders in Yahoo Mail:
Creating a new folder:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Create" button at the top of the page.
- Select "Folder" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a name for your folder and click "Create".
Moving emails to a folder:
- Select the email(s) you want to move to a folder.
- Click on the "More" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Move to" and then choose the folder you want to move the email(s) to.
Renaming a folder:
- Click on the folder you want to rename.
- Click on the "More" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Rename" and enter a new name for the folder.
Deleting a folder:
- Click on the folder you want to delete.
- Click on the "More" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" and confirm that you want to delete the folder.
Managing folders:
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Folders" tab at the top of the page.
- You can view all your folders and their contents here.
- You can also use the "Search" function to find specific emails within a folder.
Tips:
- You can create subfolders within other folders to further organize your emails.
- You can also use the "Quick Folders" feature to quickly move emails to a folder. To do this, click on the "More" dropdown menu and select "Quick Folders".
- If you have a lot of folders, you can use the "Folder List" feature to quickly access your folders. To do this, click on the "Inbox" tab and then click on the "Folder List" button at the top of the page.
