Mail folders yahoo account
In Yahoo Mail, you can create and manage folders to organize your emails. Here's how:
Creating a new folder:
- Log in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Create" button at the top of the page.
- Select "Folder" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a name for your folder and click "Create".
Moving emails to a folder:
- Select the email(s) you want to move to a folder.
- Right-click on the selected email(s) and select "Move to" from the context menu.
- Select the folder you want to move the email(s) to from the dropdown menu.
Renaming a folder:
- Click on the folder you want to rename.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the folder name.
- Select "Rename" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter a new name for the folder and click "Save".
Deleting a folder:
- Click on the folder you want to delete.
- Click on the three vertical dots next to the folder name.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the folder.
Managing folders:
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "Folders" button at the top of the page.
- This will take you to the "Folders" page, where you can see all your folders and subfolders.
- You can drag and drop folders to reorganize them.
- You can also use the "Move to" feature to move folders to a different location.
Tips:
- You can create subfolders within a folder by clicking on the folder and then clicking on the "Create" button.
- You can also create a new folder by right-clicking on an existing folder and selecting "Create new folder".
- You can use the "Search" feature to find emails in a specific folder.
- You can also use the "Filter" feature to filter emails based on specific criteria, such as sender or subject.
