Mail forwarding in outlook

Mail forwarding in Outlook allows you to forward emails from one email account to another. Here's how to do it:

Method 1: Forwarding emails from the Outlook web app

  1. Log in to your Outlook account and go to the inbox.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner and select "View all Outlook settings".
  3. Click on "Mail" and then "Forwarding".
  4. Under "Forwarding", toggle the switch to "On" and enter the email address you want to forward emails to.
  5. You can also choose to forward emails from specific folders or only forward emails from specific senders.
  6. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Method 2: Forwarding emails from the Outlook desktop app

  1. Open the Outlook desktop app and go to the inbox.
  2. Right-click on the email you want to forward and select "Forward".
  3. In the "Forward" window, enter the email address you want to forward the email to.
  4. You can also add a message to the forwarded email by typing in the "Subject" and "Body" fields.
  5. Click "Send" to forward the email.

Method 3: Forwarding emails using a rule

  1. Open the Outlook desktop app and go to the inbox.
  2. Click on the "Rules" button in the "Home" tab.
  3. Click on "New Rule" and select "Start from a blank rule".
  4. Choose "Forward it to people or distribution list" and click "Next".
  5. Enter the email address you want to forward emails to and click "Next".
  6. Choose the conditions for when you want to forward emails (e.g. from specific senders, to specific folders, etc.).
  7. Click "Finish" to save the rule.
