Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mail processing equipment, such as automated sorting machines and scales
• Verify and correct addresses on mail and packages as needed
• Handle and process mail and packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged or lost
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
• Meet productivity and quality standards, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the mail processing area
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as handling customer inquiries or resolving issues with mail and packages

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a mail processing or related role preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with mail processing software
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mail processing equipment and software
• Knowledge of postal regulations and procedures
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment

Working Conditions:
