Mail settings outlook
Here are the common mail settings for Outlook:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP/POP3)
- Server Name: outlook.office365.com (for Office 365 accounts) or imap.gmail.com (for Gmail accounts)
- Port: 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP3)
- Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
- Server Name: smtp.office365.com (for Office 365 accounts) or smtp.gmail.com (for Gmail accounts)
- Port: 587 (TLS) or 25 (unencrypted)
- Encryption: TLS
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., [yourname]@outlook.com)
- Password: Your email account password
Additional Settings
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: This setting allows you to keep a copy of your emails on the server, so you can access them from multiple devices.
- Remove messages from the server after downloading: This setting removes emails from the server after you download them to your device.
- Check for new messages every: This setting determines how often Outlook checks for new emails.
IMAP Settings
- IMAP Path Prefix: Leave this blank
- Use the same settings as my incoming mail server: Check this box to use the same settings for IMAP as you do for POP3
POP3 Settings
