Mail to junk and mac

You want to know how to mark an email as junk and move it to the "Junk" or "Spam" folder on a Mac.

Here's how:

Using Mail on a Mac:

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Select the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Click on the "Junk" button in the top right corner of the Mail window. It looks like a trash can with a red "X" mark.
  4. Confirm that you want to move the email to the "Junk" folder by clicking "Move to Junk" in the pop-up menu.

Alternatively, you can also use the keyboard shortcut:

Using the Mail app on a Mac (using the menu bar):

  1. Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  2. Select the email you want to mark as junk.
  3. Go to the "Mail" menu in the top menu bar.
  4. Click on "Mark" and then select "Mark as Junk" from the drop-down menu.

That's it! The email should now be moved to the "Junk" folder, where it will be automatically deleted after a few days.

Remember, you can also use the "Not Junk" button to mark an email that was incorrectly marked as junk. This helps improve the accuracy of your junk mail filter.
