Mail.com port
A simple question!
mail.com
is a popular free email service provider, and by default, their email servers use the following ports:
- Incoming (IMAP): port 143 (unencrypted) or port 993 (SSL/TLS encrypted)
- Outgoing (SMTP): port 25 (unencrypted) or port 587 (TLS encrypted)
Here are some examples of how you might configure your email client to use these ports:
IMAP (Incoming)
- Unencrypted:
imap.mail.com
on port 143 - SSL/TLS encrypted:
imap.mail.com
on port 993
SMTP (Outgoing)
- Unencrypted:
smtp.mail.com
on port 25 - TLS encrypted:
smtp.mail.com
on port 587
Please note that these ports may be subject to change, and it's always a good idea to check with mail.com
support or your email client's documentation for the most up-to-date information.
