Mail.google.com settings
Here are the settings for mail.google.com:
Incoming Mail Server:
- Protocol: IMAP or POP3
- Server: imap.gmail.com (IMAP) or pop.gmail.com (POP3)
- Port: 993 (IMAP) or 110 (POP3)
- Username: Your full Gmail address (e.g. [yourname]@gmail.com)
- Password: Your Gmail password
Outgoing Mail Server:
- Protocol: SMTP
- Server: smtp.gmail.com
- Port: 587
- Username: Your full Gmail address (e.g. [yourname]@gmail.com)
- Password: Your Gmail password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password as your Gmail account
- SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption to secure your connection
- Authentication: Use the same username and password as your Gmail account
Notes:
- If you're using 2-Step Verification (2SV) with your Gmail account, you'll need to generate an App Password and use that instead of your regular password.
- If you're using a third-party email client, you may need to enable "Less secure apps" in your Google Account settings to allow access.
- If you're having trouble connecting to your Gmail account, try checking your account settings to ensure that IMAP or POP3 is enabled.
