Mailman's motto
A fun one!
After some research, I found a few "mottos" that are often attributed to mailmen:
- "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." - This is the official motto of the United States Postal Service (USPS) and is inscribed on the James Farley Post Office in New York City.
- "Neither rain, nor snow, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays this courier from the swift completion of his appointed rounds." - This is a slightly modified version of the USPS motto, often used to describe the dedication and perseverance of mail carriers.
- "Delivering smiles, one piece of mail at a time." - This is a more lighthearted and modern motto that captures the friendly and approachable nature of many mail carriers.
Of course, these are just a few examples, and individual mailmen may have their own personal mottos or sayings that reflect their values and approach to their work.
