Microsoft Outlook 2015 and Gmail!

To set up Outlook 2015 to work with your Gmail account, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Add your Gmail account to Outlook 2015

  1. Open Outlook 2015 and click on the "File" tab.
  2. Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
  3. Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next".
  4. Enter your name, email address, and password for your Gmail account.

Step 2: Configure your Gmail account settings

  1. In the "Account Settings" window, click on the "More Settings" button.
  2. In the "Internet Email Settings" window, click on the "Advanced" tab.
  3. In the "Server Information" section, enter the following settings:
    • Incoming mail server: imap.gmail.com
    • Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com
    • Port: 993 (for incoming) and 587 (for outgoing)
  4. Click "OK" to close the "Internet Email Settings" window.

Step 4: Test your Gmail account settings

  1. Click on the "Test Account Settings" button in the "Account Settings" window.
  2. Outlook will attempt to connect to your Gmail account and retrieve your email settings.
  3. If everything is set up correctly, you should see a success message.

That's it! Your Gmail account should now be set up in Outlook 2015. You can start sending and receiving emails using your Gmail account.

Note: If you're having trouble setting up your Gmail account in Outlook 2015, you may need to enable IMAP or POP3 access in your Gmail account settings. You can do this by going to your Gmail account settings, clicking on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab, and selecting "Enable IMAP" or "Enable POP3".
