Mithought comcast webmail

A blast from the past!

Mithought.com was a web-based email service provided by Comcast, a major American telecommunications company. It was launched in the late 1990s and was one of the earliest web-based email services offered by a cable internet provider.

Mithought.com allowed Comcast customers to access their email accounts from any internet-connected device with a web browser. The service was free and came with a range of features, including:

  1. Email storage: Users had a limited amount of storage space for their emails.
  2. Spam filtering: Mithought.com had built-in spam filtering to help reduce unwanted emails.
  3. Address book: Users could store contact information and easily send emails to their contacts.
  4. Calendar: Users could schedule appointments and events using the built-in calendar feature.

However, in 2011, Comcast announced that it would be discontinuing Mithought.com and replacing it with a new email service called Comcast.net. The new service offered more features, including:

  1. More storage space: Users had more room to store their emails.
  2. Improved spam filtering: Comcast.net had more advanced spam filtering capabilities.
  3. Integration with other Comcast services: Users could access their Comcast.net email account from other Comcast services, such as their cable TV and internet accounts.

Today, Comcast.net is still available to Comcast customers, and it offers a range of features, including email, calendar, and contact management. However, Mithought.com is no longer available, and users who had accounts on the old service were migrated to Comcast.net.
