Move mail from promotions to primary

A common Gmail issue!

To move emails from the "Promotions" tab to the "Primary" tab in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface

1. Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
2. Click on the "Promotions" tab.
3. Select the emails you want to move to the "Primary" tab by checking the boxes next to them.
4. Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
5. Select "Mark as not spam" from the dropdown menu.
6. In the "Mark as not spam" window, select "Move to" and choose "Primary" from the dropdown menu.
7. Click "Apply" to move the selected emails to the "Primary" tab.

Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App

1. Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
2. Tap on the "Promotions" tab.
3. Long-press on the email you want to move to the "Primary" tab.
4. Tap on the "More" menu that appears.
5. Select "Move to" and choose "Primary" from the dropdown menu.
6. Tap "Apply" to move the selected email to the "Primary" tab.

Method 3: Using Filters

1. Log in to your Gmail account on the web.
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
5. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
6. In the "From" field, enter the email address of the sender you want to move to the "Primary" tab.
7. Click on the "Create filter" button.
8. In the "Apply the label" dropdown menu, select "Primary".
9. Click "Create" to apply the filter.

By using one of these methods, you should be able to move emails from the "Promotions" tab to the "Primary" tab in Gmail.
