Msn alerts email thread

A blast from the past!

MSN Alerts was a feature that allowed users to receive email notifications when someone sent them an instant message (IM) on MSN Messenger. Here's an example of what an MSN Alerts email thread might look like:

Dear [Your Name],

[Your Friend's Name] has sent you a message on MSN Messenger!

These emails would continue to arrive in your inbox as long as you had MSN Alerts enabled and your friend continued to send you messages on MSN Messenger.
