A blast from the past!
The "Compose" window in Hotmail (now Outlook.com) allows you to create and send new emails. Here's a breakdown of the typical features you'll find:
To: Enter the email address of the recipient(s) you want to send the email to.
Subject: Enter a brief summary of the email's content.
Message: This is the main body of the email where you can type your message. You can format your text using various tools, such as:
- Bold and italic text
- Font sizes and styles
- Bullet points and numbered lists
- Hyperlinks
- Attachments (up to 10MB)
Attachments: You can attach files to your email by clicking the "Attach file" button and selecting the file from your computer.
Send: Click the "Send" button to send the email to the recipient(s).
CC/BCC: You can add Carbon Copy (CC) or Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) recipients by clicking the corresponding buttons.
Spelling and grammar check: Hotmail's compose window includes a built-in spelling and grammar check feature. You can toggle it on or off by clicking the "Spelling and grammar" button.
