Msn hotmail japan

A blast from the past!

MSN Hotmail Japan was a popular email service in Japan, launched in 1999 by Microsoft Japan. It was a localized version of the global Hotmail service, with a Japanese-language interface and features tailored to the Japanese market.

At its peak, MSN Hotmail Japan had over 10 million registered users, making it one of the largest email services in Japan. The service offered a range of features, including:

  1. Free email accounts with a @msn.com or @hotmail.com address
  2. Web-based email client with a user-friendly interface
  3. Support for Japanese characters and language
  4. Integration with other Microsoft services, such as MSN Messenger and Windows Live
  5. Advertising and sponsored content

However, in 2013, Microsoft announced that it would be retiring the MSN Hotmail Japan service, citing declining usage and the increasing popularity of other email services, such as Gmail and Yahoo! Japan. The service was officially shut down on March 31, 2014.

Although MSN Hotmail Japan is no longer available, many users still remember the service fondly and appreciate the nostalgia it brings.
