Msn hotmail signature

A blast from the past!

In the early days of email, it was common for people to add a signature to the end of their emails, which would include their name, contact information, and sometimes a brief message or joke. This was often referred to as a "signature" or "sig."

In the case of Hotmail (which was later rebranded as Outlook.com), the signature was a feature that allowed users to add a custom message to the end of their emails. Here's an example of what a Hotmail signature might look like:

Your Name Your Email Address Your Phone Number Your Website or Social Media Profile

Your Message or Joke

For example:

John Doe [email protected] 555-555-5555 www.johndoe.com

May the email be with you!

To add a signature to your Hotmail account, you would go to the "Settings" page, click on "More Settings," and then select "Signature." From there, you could enter your custom message and choose whether you wanted it to appear at the top or bottom of your emails.

While the concept of a signature is still relevant today, the way we use them has evolved. Many email providers, including Outlook.com, now offer more advanced features for customizing your email signature, such as the ability to add images, links, and even conditional logic.
