Msn webtv email account

A blast from the past!

MSN WebTV was a service that allowed users to access the internet and email using a special device that connected to their TV. The service was launched in the late 1990s and was popular in the early 2000s.

If you had an MSN WebTV email account, it was likely an @msn.com email address. However, in 2012, Microsoft announced that it would be discontinuing the MSN WebTV service and shutting down the associated email accounts.

If you're trying to access your old MSN WebTV email account, you may not be able to do so anymore. Microsoft has likely deleted the accounts and any associated data. However, you may be able to recover your email address and password using Microsoft's account recovery process.

Here are the steps to try and recover your MSN WebTV email account:

  1. Go to the Microsoft account recovery page and click on "Forgot password".
  2. Enter your email address (your old MSN WebTV email address) and click "Next".
  3. Follow the prompts to verify your identity and answer security questions.
  4. If you're successful, you'll be able to reset your password and regain access to your email account.

Keep in mind that even if you're able to recover your email account, you may not be able to access any emails or data that were stored on the account. Microsoft may have deleted the data as part of the shutdown process.

It's also worth noting that even if you're unable to recover your MSN WebTV email account, you can still create a new email account using Microsoft's Outlook.com service.
