New certified mail rates

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced new certified mail rates, effective January 24, 2022. Here are the new rates:

Certified Mail Rates

• Certified Mail (1 oz): $4.30 (up from $3.90)
• Certified Mail (2 oz): $4.60 (up from $4.20)
• Certified Mail (3 oz): $4.90 (up from $4.50)
• Certified Mail (1 oz with return receipt): $5.30 (up from $4.90)
• Certified Mail (2 oz with return receipt): $5.60 (up from $5.20)
• Certified Mail (3 oz with return receipt): $5.90 (up from $5.50)

Certified Mail with Tracking (CM300) Rates

• Certified Mail with Tracking (1 oz): $5.30 (up from $4.90)
• Certified Mail with Tracking (2 oz): $5.60 (up from $5.20)
• Certified Mail with Tracking (3 oz): $5.90 (up from $5.50)

Certified Mail with Return Receipt (RR) Rates

• Certified Mail with Return Receipt (1 oz): $6.30 (up from $5.90)
• Certified Mail with Return Receipt (2 oz): $6.60 (up from $6.20)
• Certified Mail with Return Receipt (3 oz): $6.90 (up from $6.50)

Certified Mail with Return Receipt and Tracking (RR300) Rates

• Certified Mail with Return Receipt and Tracking (1 oz): $7.30 (up from $6.90)
• Certified Mail with Return Receipt and Tracking (2 oz): $7.60 (up from $7.20)
• Certified Mail with Return Receipt and Tracking (3 oz): $7.90 (up from $7.50)
