Notify mail
Notify Mail!
Notify Mail is a feature in Gmail that allows you to send a notification to a specific email address when you send an email to a particular recipient or group of recipients. This feature is useful when you want to keep someone informed about a specific email conversation or when you want to CC someone on an email without actually sending the email to them.
Here's how to set up Notify Mail in Gmail:
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page and select "See all settings."
- Scroll down to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- Enter the recipient's email address or a specific keyword in the "From" field.
- Select the "Notify" option and enter the email address you want to notify.
- Choose the notification type: "Send a notification" or "CC the notification."
- Click "Create" to save the filter.
Once you've set up the Notify Mail filter, whenever you send an email to the specified recipient or group, Gmail will automatically send a notification to the email address you specified.
Some examples of when you might use Notify Mail include:
- Sending a notification to a colleague or manager when you send an important email.
- Keeping a client or customer informed about a specific email conversation.
- CCing someone on an email without actually sending the email to them.
