Nrlca 2017 mail count
According to the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association (NRLCA), the 2017 mail count for rural carriers was:
- Total mail pieces delivered: 44.4 billion
- Average daily mail volume: 121.9 million
- Peak mail volume day: December 11, 2017 (143.4 million)
- Lowest mail volume day: January 2, 2017 (104.4 million)
These numbers are based on data from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and reflect the volume of mail delivered to rural areas by NRLCA members.
