Ntu webmail imap

NTU Webmail uses IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) to allow users to access their email accounts remotely. Here's how to set up IMAP for NTU Webmail:

Setup Instructions:

  1. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail) and go to the "Accounts" or "Settings" section.
  2. Click on "Add Account" or "New Account" and select "IMAP" as the account type.
  3. Enter your NTU Webmail username and password in the required fields.
  4. Set the "Incoming Mail Server" to imap.ntu.edu.sg and the "Port" to 993.
  5. Set the "Outgoing Mail Server" to smtp.ntu.edu.sg and the "Port" to 587 (or 25 if your email client doesn't support TLS).
  6. Make sure to select "SSL/TLS" as the encryption method for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
  7. Click "Next" or "Finish" to complete the setup process.
