To set up your Olivet email account in Outlook, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Outlook
Launch Outlook on your computer or mobile device.
Step 2: Add a new account

Step 3: Choose your email provider
Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
Step 4: Enter your account details
Enter the following information:
- Your Name: Your full name as you want it to appear in your emails.
- Email Address: Your Olivet email address (e.g., [yourname]@olivet.edu).
- Account Type: Select "POP" or "IMAP" (we recommend IMAP for syncing emails across devices).
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.olivet.edu
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.olivet.edu
- User Name: Your Olivet email address (e.g., [yourname]@olivet.edu).
- Password: Your Olivet email password.
Step 5: Set up your account
Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.
Step 6: Configure your account settings
You may need to configure additional settings, such as:
- Server Port Numbers: 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP) for incoming mail, and 587 (SMTP) for outgoing mail.
