Open msn mail in outlook
To open your MSN Mail account in Outlook, you'll need to follow these steps:
Method 1: Using Outlook's built-in feature
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Add Account" and then select "Manual setup or additional server types".
- Choose "Internet Email" and click "Next".
- Enter your MSN Mail account information:
- Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field.
- Email address: Enter your MSN Mail address (e.g., [yourname]@hotmail.com).
- Password: Enter your MSN Mail password.
- POP3 or IMAP: Select "POP3" or "IMAP" as your incoming mail server type.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.
Method 2: Using Outlook's add-in
- Download and install the "Hotmail Connector" add-in from Microsoft's website.
- Open Outlook and go to the "File" menu.
- Click on "Options" and then select "Add-ins".
- Click "Go" next to "Manage COM Add-ins" and check the box next to "Hotmail Connector".
- Click "OK" to close the dialog box.
- Go to the "File" menu and click on "Add Account".
- Select "Hotmail" as your email provider and enter your MSN Mail account information.
- Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.
Note: The Hotmail Connector add-in is only compatible with Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013. If you're using a newer version of Outlook, you may need to use Method 1 instead.
Once you've set up your MSN Mail account in Outlook, you should be able to access your emails, contacts, and calendar events from within the Outlook interface.
