Optimum online email settings outlook express
Here are the optimum online email settings for Outlook Express:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3)
- Server name: your_email_provider.com (e.g. outlook.com, gmail.com, etc.)
- Port: 110 (default)
- Username: your_email_address (e.g. [email protected])
- Password: your_email_password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
- Server name: your_email_provider.com (e.g. outlook.com, gmail.com, etc.)
- Port: 587 (default) or 25 (if your email provider allows it)
- Username: your_email_address (e.g. [email protected])
- Password: your_email_password
Additional Settings
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: Yes (if you want to keep a copy of your emails on the server)
- Remove messages from server: Yes (if you want to delete emails from the server after downloading them)
- Use same settings as my incoming mail server: Yes (if you want to use the same settings for both incoming and outgoing mail)
SSL/TLS Settings
- Use a secure connection (SSL): Yes (if your email provider supports SSL/TLS encryption)
- Authentication: Password (if your email provider requires authentication)
