Optumrx mail savestate

OptumRx is a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) that offers mail-order pharmacy services to its clients. If you're looking to save state (i.e., pause or suspend) your mail-order prescription shipments with OptumRx, here are the steps you can follow:

Method 1: Online Account Management

  1. Log in to your OptumRx online account at www.optumrx.com.
  2. Click on the "My Account" tab and select "Manage My Prescriptions" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Find the prescription you want to save state and click on the "Edit" button next to it.
  4. Scroll down to the "Delivery Options" section and click on the "Save State" button.
  5. Choose the reason for saving state (e.g., travel, vacation, etc.) and select the date range for which you want to pause your shipments.
  6. Click "Save" to confirm your changes.

Method 2: Phone or Fax

  1. Call OptumRx's customer service number at 1-877-363-7837 (TTY 1-877-863-7837) to speak with a representative.
  2. Inform the representative that you want to save state your mail-order prescription shipments.
  3. Provide the representative with the reason for saving state and the date range for which you want to pause your shipments.
  4. The representative will assist you in updating your account and saving state your shipments.

Method 3: Mail

  1. Write a letter to OptumRx requesting to save state your mail-order prescription shipments.
  2. Include the following information in your letter:
    • Your name and account number
    • The prescription(s) you want to save state
    • The reason for saving state
    • The date range for which you want to pause your shipments
  3. Mail the letter to the following address: OptumRx Attn: Mail Order Pharmacy 5001 American Blvd. E. Bloomington, MN 55425
