Osu email login outlook

To log in to your OSU email account using Outlook, follow these steps:

  1. Open Outlook on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Add Account".
  3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
  4. Choose "POP or IMAP" and click "Next".
  5. Enter the following information:
    • Your name: Enter your name as you want it to appear in the "From" field of your emails.
    • Email address: Enter your OSU email address in the format of [your_osu_username]@osu.edu.
    • Account type: Select "POP" or "IMAP" depending on your preference.
    • Incoming mail server: Enter "imap.osu.edu" for IMAP or "pop.osu.edu" for POP.
    • Outgoing mail server: Enter "smtp.osu.edu".
    • User name: Enter your OSU username (the same as your email address without the "@osu.edu" part).
    • Password: Enter your OSU password.
  6. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.

Note: If you are using IMAP, you will need to set up your email client to sync your emails, contacts, and calendar. If you are using POP, your emails will be downloaded to your device and will not be synced with the OSU email server.
