Outlook 2013 gmail contact

To connect your Gmail contacts to Outlook 2013, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable IMAP in your Gmail account

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings."
  3. Scroll down to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" section.
  4. Select the "Enable IMAP" radio button.
  5. Click "Save Changes."

Step 2: Set up your Gmail account in Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2013 and go to "File" > "Add Account."
  2. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next."
  3. Select "Internet Email" and click "Next."
  4. Enter your Gmail address and password, and click "Next."
  5. Select "IMAP" as the account type and enter the following settings:
    • Incoming mail server: imap.gmail.com
    • Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com
    • Port: 993 (IMAP) or 587 (SMTP)
    • Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA): unchecked
  6. Click "Next" and then "Finish."

Step 3: Synchronize your Gmail contacts with Outlook 2013

  1. Go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings" (again).
  2. Select your Gmail account and click "Change."
  3. Click on the "More Settings" button.
  4. Go to the "Contacts" tab.
  5. Select "Synchronize contacts" and choose the synchronization direction:
    • "Download changes from server" to download contacts from Gmail to Outlook.
    • "Upload changes to server" to upload contacts from Outlook to Gmail.
  6. Click "OK" to save the changes.

Step 4: Verify the synchronization

  1. Go to "Contacts" in Outlook 2013.
  2. Check if your Gmail contacts have been synchronized with Outlook.
