Outlook 2015 recall mail
In Outlook 2015, you can recall a sent email by using the "Recall This Message" feature. Here's how:
Method 1: Recall a sent email from the Sent Items folder
- Open Outlook 2015 and go to the Sent Items folder.
- Find the email you want to recall and right-click on it.
- Select "Recall This Message" from the context menu.
- In the "Recall This Message" dialog box, select the option "Delete unread copies of this message" or "Delete unread copies and replace with a new message".
- Click "OK" to confirm.
Method 2: Recall a sent email from the message itself
- Open the email you want to recall in a new window.
- Click on the "Message" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Actions" button in the "Move" group.
- Select "Recall This Message" from the dropdown menu.
- In the "Recall This Message" dialog box, select the option "Delete unread copies of this message" or "Delete unread copies and replace with a new message".
- Click "OK" to confirm.
Important notes:
- The "Recall This Message" feature only works if the recipient has not yet read the email.
- If the recipient has already read the email, the recall will not work.
- The recall feature only deletes the email from the recipient's inbox, not from their Sent Items folder.
- If you want to recall an email and replace it with a new message, you'll need to compose a new email and send it separately.
