Outlook mail smtp server
Outlook Mail uses the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to send emails. Here are the SMTP settings for Outlook Mail:
Outgoing (SMTP) Server Settings:
- Server:
smtp.office365.com
(for Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, and Live.com accounts) - Port: 587
- Encryption: TLS (Transport Layer Security)
- Authentication: Use your Outlook Mail account credentials (username and password)
Note: If you're using a custom domain (e.g., @yourcompany.com) with Outlook Mail, you may need to use a different SMTP server. In this case, you can use smtp-auth.smtp.outlook.com
as the SMTP server.
Additional Settings:
- StartTLS: Yes (this enables TLS encryption)

- Require TLS: Yes (this ensures that the connection is encrypted)

- If you're still having issues, try using the Outlook Mail web interface to send an email and see if the issue persists.
