The familiar sound of a new email arriving in Outlook!
Here's what you can do when you receive a new email in Outlook:
- Check the subject line: Quickly scan the subject line to get an idea of what the email is about.
- Read the email: Open the email to read the content. You can use the preview pane to quickly scan the email without opening it.
- Respond to the email: If you need to respond to the email, you can do so by clicking the "Reply" or "Reply All" button.

- Add a reminder: You can set a reminder for the email by clicking the "Reminder" button. This will remind you to follow up on the email at a later time.
- Use Quick Steps: Outlook's Quick Steps feature allows you to automate repetitive tasks, such as moving an email to a specific folder or sending a response.
