Outlook search mail by date

To search for emails in Outlook by date, you can use the "Date" field in the search bar. Here are the steps:

  1. Open Outlook and click on the "Search" button in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. In the search bar, type "received:" followed by the date you're looking for. For example, if you want to search for emails received on January 15, 2023, you would type "received:01/15/2023".
  3. You can also use the "sent:" operator to search for emails sent on a specific date. For example, "sent:01/15/2023".
  4. If you want to search for emails within a specific date range, you can use the "between:" operator. For example, "received:01/01/2023..01/31/2023" would search for emails received between January 1, 2023 and January 31, 2023.
  5. Click on the "Search" button to execute the search.

Alternatively, you can also use the "Calendar" view in Outlook to search for emails by date. Here's how:

  1. Open Outlook and click on the "Calendar" button in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Click on the "View" tab and select "Date" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Use the calendar to select the date you're looking for.
  4. Outlook will display a list of emails received or sent on that date.
  5. You can also use the "Filter" button to narrow down the search results by using criteria such as "Received" or "Sent".

Note: The date format used in the search bar is MM/DD/YYYY. If you're using a different date format, you may need to adjust the search query accordingly.
