Outlook send blind email
The infamous "blind carbon copy" (BCC) feature in Outlook!
To send a blind email in Outlook, follow these steps:
- Open Outlook and compose a new email by clicking on the "New Email" button in the Home tab.
- Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field. You can add multiple recipients by separating their email addresses with semicolons (;).
- Click on the "BCC" button located next to the "To" field. This will open the "BCC" field.
- Enter the email addresses of the recipients you want to blind copy in the "BCC" field. You can add multiple recipients by separating their email addresses with semicolons (;).
- Make sure the "BCC" field is not empty. If it is, the email will not be sent.
- Click on the "Send" button to send the email.
Note: When you use the BCC feature, the recipients' email addresses will not be visible to each other. However, the sender's email address will still be visible to all recipients.
Here are some important things to keep in mind when using the BCC feature:
- The BCC feature is only available in Outlook 2010 and later versions.
- The BCC feature is not available in Outlook Web App (OWA) or Outlook.com.
- The BCC feature can be used to send emails to a large number of recipients, but it's not recommended to use it for spamming or sending unsolicited emails.
- The BCC feature can be used to send emails to recipients who are not in your contact list, but it's not recommended to use it to send emails to recipients who have not given you permission to send them emails.
