Outlook.com mail settings
Here are the common mail settings for Outlook.com:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP):
- Server: outlook.office365.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your Outlook.com email address
- Password: Your Outlook.com email password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
- Server: smtp.office365.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption: TLS
- Username: Your Outlook.com email address
- Password: Your Outlook.com email password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing servers.
- Leave a copy of messages on the server: You can choose to leave a copy of your emails on the server or delete them after downloading.
- Check for new messages every: You can set the frequency at which your email client checks for new messages.
IMAP Settings:
- IMAP Path Prefix: \Inbox
- IMAP Subscribed Folders: You can choose to subscribe to specific folders, such as Inbox, Sent Items, and Deleted Items.
