A blast from the past!

Paul de Kruyff is a Dutch computer programmer and entrepreneur, best known for his work on the KPN Mail webmail service, which was launched in the late 1990s and became one of the most popular webmail services in the Netherlands.

KPN Mail was a free web-based email service provided by KPN, a Dutch telecommunications company. The service allowed users to access their email accounts from any internet-connected device with a web browser. At its peak, KPN Mail had over 2 million registered users.

Paul de Kruyff was the lead developer of KPN Mail and was responsible for designing and building the service. He is credited with creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface that made it easy for users to manage their email accounts online.

Although KPN Mail is no longer widely used today, it played an important role in popularizing webmail services in the Netherlands and paved the way for other webmail services like Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
