Place us mail on hold

To place your US Mail on hold, you'll need to contact the United States Postal Service (USPS) directly. Here are the steps:

Option 1: Online Hold

  2. Click on "Hold Mail" at the top of the page.
  3. Sign in to your USPS account or create one if you don't have one.
  4. Enter your name, address, and the dates you'd like to hold your mail.
  5. Review and confirm your request.

Option 2: Phone Hold

  1. Call the USPS Customer Service number at 1-800-275-8777.
  2. Tell the representative you'd like to place your mail on hold.
  3. Provide your name, address, and the dates you'd like to hold your mail.
  4. The representative will assist you with the hold request.

Option 3: In-Person Hold

  1. Visit your local post office.
  2. Inform the postal clerk that you'd like to place your mail on hold.
  3. Provide your name, address, and the dates you'd like to hold your mail.
  4. The clerk will assist you with the hold request.
