Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery, using various methods and equipment
- Use a mail carrier's cart or truck to transport mail and packages to and from the post office and to customers' homes and businesses
- Read and use maps and GPS devices to navigate the delivery route
- Use a hand truck or dolly to lift and move heavy packages
- Handle and process mail and packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged or lost
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues as needed
- Maintain accurate records of mail and package delivery, using a handheld scanner or other equipment
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
- Lift, carry, and move heavy packages and mail bags, up to 70 pounds
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages and mail bags, up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to read and use maps and GPS devices

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
