Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mail and packages to customers in a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

• Use a mail carrier's cart or truck to transport mail and packages to and from the post office and to customers' homes and businesses
• Read and use maps and GPS devices to navigate the delivery route
• Use a hand truck or dolly to lift and move heavy packages
• Handle and process mail and packages with care, ensuring they are not damaged or lost
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues as needed
• Maintain accurate records of mail and package delivery, using a handheld scanner or other equipment
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
• Lift, carry, and move heavy packages and mail bags, up to 70 pounds

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages and mail bags, up to 70 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds
• Ability to read and use maps and GPS devices
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
