To ensure your mail arrives on time, Royal Mail has specific posting times for different services. Here are the general guidelines:
Standard Post (1st Class and 2nd Class)
- For delivery within the UK:
- 1st Class: Post by 1pm for next working day delivery (Monday to Saturday)
- 2nd Class: Post by 3pm for 2-3 working day delivery (Monday to Saturday)
- For delivery to the Channel Islands and Isle of Man:
- 1st Class: Post by 1pm for next working day delivery (Monday to Friday)
- 2nd Class: Post by 3pm for 2-3 working day delivery (Monday to Friday)
Special Delivery
- For guaranteed next working day delivery (Monday to Saturday):
- Post by 1pm for delivery by 1pm the next working day
- For guaranteed Saturday delivery:
- Post by 1pm on Friday for delivery by 1pm on Saturday
International Post
- For delivery to Europe:
- Post by 10am for next working day delivery (Monday to Friday)
- For delivery to the rest of the world:
- Post by 10am for 2-5 working day delivery (Monday to Friday)
Special Services
- For tracked and signed services, such as Signed For and Tracked 24:
- Post by the specified time for the chosen service (e.g., 1pm for Tracked 24)
